Introduction

Today I finished reading ‘I Found You’. It was a book that for me was engaging and was a good fun read (It surely does make me smile many times). I got this book from my mama on my day of returning from Mahendranagar to Kathmandu. On my trip after 11 . I called my mama and I collected this from there.

I found you is a book by Lisa Jewell. It is a mystery thriller and I was attracted more towards it as the story follows. The book tells the story of two women’s lives primarily (Lisa and Alice) along with a mysterious disappearance of Lisa's husband and an unknown man Alice finds in the beach who has lost his memory. The book is surely engaging and was really fun to read.

The book follows non-linear storytelling along with a simple and keen suspense all along. I did leave reading for days but I am happy to be able to finish it.

Theme

The book mainly follows the theme of suspense and thriller along with love and flashbacks of the past. The book did a wonderful work on explaining and connecting its readers to the characters and bringing characters to life.

The story is a collection of chapters which contains portions of fear, pensiveness but the unboxing of mystery being the main theme all along. The plot is simple along with lessons that can be learned by me but the story seemed like the one not pushing any ideas except from love and companionship.

Conclusion

I feel like enjoying the story and reading the book but I feel emptiness in reading the book in many aspects as I myself don’t have the experience of such love or experiences in my life. But the book can be fun to read if you are looking for it. But I myself personally wasn't able to quite enjoy the book as I feel like it could do more with lessons to be learned and could contain more philosophical ideas.
