Introduction
Life is really a lot. It’s the most fluid thing that its existence on its own can be questioned. In this whole wide world, humans have super-simplified things; how life is narrowed and how things are sarcastically wrong. That’s what I was part of: an unfitting part filled with every knowledge to fit but still unworthy of conformity, criticizing myself, my capabilities, and existence. And being self-destructive were my last echoes for help. Until things changed. Until a person entered my life, changed nothing but everything to me. Someone that is naturally true enough to open my eyes, someone that listens just right enough for me to hear myself, someone that hugs just right enough for my heart to beat again.
I am what I am also due to this beautiful coincidence that happened in my life. That ended my corrupted art, corrupted eyes, and corrupted heart. And that’s what I needed but never knew.
And Life Clicked for me.
Now, self-care is beautiful, kindness is cool, and tears are bravery. The moon feels like the MOON writers wrote about, but sun also feels like the SUN it means to me. And I became a mother,
Mission: life is my revolution towards self-advocacy. It’s a project of approaching people, hanging out with your friends, a lot of smiles, and beautiful skies, which goes against the race to win what you never wanted and living a life that we survive like it’s an every second 'gift'.
To quote it as it is quoted officially is:
"Mission: life is a six-episode video series, divided into three categories: Voices, Case Study, and Events. Created by a group of high school students directly after their final exams, it is an act of rebellion against the societal pressure of 'figuring out life' in Nepali society immediately after graduation, a severe contrast to being 'spoon-fed' your path your whole life. Through this series, we explore critical social issues, share diverse perspectives, and highlight real stories from our community. It’s our way of using our voices to spark conversations, inspire change, and remind everyone (and us) that life needs to be lived."

The Web We Lost : Who Stole the Internet's Promise? | Mission: life / Voices |
: Shrestha Electrical & Electronics, Samakhusi
This beat is my voice, validating that the world isn’t selfish; that care still matters, and you can care for people you have/will never meet. It discusses how the world is my family and caring about it is still cool, instead of a teenager’s grumpy attitude on how society is 'bad' and 'mean', which is used to justify people’s own harsh actions. And how the Internet, which has become a home of mass conditioning, was made for something exactly opposite. How it's proof about humanity and care. Discussed through lines with examples of Tim Berners-Lee and Linus Torvalds.
The Paradox of Money & Morality In Nepal | Mission: life / Voices |
: Sunway College
This beat features a symbolic representation of youths' emotional struggles and the reason for breakdown among majority youth in Nepal. How society molest each and every youth coming of age to earn their right to live. And how society leads them to anomie and confusion. How we are conditioned for morality that turns out to be the biggest joke as we grow. How money is respected but still, the ones that make it are morally questioned by society itself.
Mission: life / Case Studies

Food Adulteration In Nepal | Mission: life / Case Studies |
: Chitra Nepal

Mental Health: Status, Cure & Stigma in Nepal (w/ Hashana Shrestha) | Mission: life / Case Studies |
: Project LOUD
This beat shines a light on another necessary topic in our society. We discuss the most basic of beliefs on how mental health is needed. How hugely it affects our lives and how it’s beyond so many wrong stereotypes in our society. Our lives need love/care, and modern busy lifestyles don't give the limelight for any of that. Our attempt here is to supply quality messages on mental health advocacy.

Our Journey for Celebrating Muna Madan | Mission: life / Events |
: Gehendra Dhimal Foundation
This beat is really, really fascinating. It contains the whole concise snapshot of our event. And I am still surreal about it. Here we hosted an actual event, working with a large audience and spending days for its setup. But most importantly, it's about reflecting on the beauty and relevance of an evergreen Nepali literature, Muna Madan. A tale that easily deserves to be shared and sung over generations. We made literature enthusiasts meet and benefited from having such a wonderful audience and their ideas. (Omg!! This was really fun and special, like every other beat was!)
Here are 2 other videos from our event by our amazing speakers:.
