When I was small, things were always simple to me. Life felt simple: the inherited beliefs that are imposed on all of us about life. I was raised with a simple vision of a job, marriage, and death—that place and state in life felt independent of anything happening around the world.
Now, I see the world in everything: the clothes someone wears, the way their eyelids are, the speed in which someone drives, or the effort needed for someone to smile. The road, water, and air is political; poor are "calculated errors" for profits, and I am a "missed shot" for conformity. I am glad I see life in this specific way.
Everything around is expressive—saying, "hi toran, come here and connect me with your universe of thoughts."
Like this plastic beside my laptop; when looked at whole, it makes me think about microplastics, how it is killing people. The stamp of the supermarket in it makes me think about how supermarkets cleverly pull strings for making us buy differently than normal. This empty plastic over this table makes me anxious about my mom’s scolding I might get, igniting whole "parenting in nepal". Its green label tag makes me think about food adulteration & how the candy won’t even have 2 fruits that it has in the picture—because it’s not japan.
And then I think of the reel stating Obama being the first president to honor the martyrs of the atomic bomb at hiroshima. And once the president and US gets in, you know how it will go.
“The biggest wars are within,” as said. For my realization, there was no war needed. I knew my wrong footstep all along, but I didn’t know the right ones. Now,I believe the truth always remains in the plain sight. It’s reachable for any classes of society. This accessibility frightens us, like how I got frightened after 12 years of spoon-fed "schooling"(i am supposed to decide my life?). Or when I was trusting that money is the goal , that it will fix my mind infected by discrimination, insensitivity, and competition. In that void of chasing, knowing I am missing something only to realize it was me. It was me I always needed, me as a kid who used to draw, who used to care, who can enjoy his own company and show kindness looking not at the person or gains I would gain from it.
This is the strongest realization and only realization for ending every personal and global issue. Humanity that understands there never was a war to train yourself to, nor was there a 'respect' to be earned. Also, the awards are worthless; and keeping yourself in the kitchen as a "MAN" in this society can enlighten you. Trust me! Once you stop and turn back, you will find that the ghost was your own shadow that you declined to accept.
Finally LOVE came into my life, fixed everything (ik it sounds cliché). Not only that, I realized LOVE is the only thing that can fix the world atom by atom. Whatever it may be: world hunger, inflation, or selfish leaders with their ego.
In my experience of love, I travelled with the footstep on why Buddha—all knowing—could have made the medicine of immortality, maybe make a medicine that will end world hunger, maybe a 4D pocket that doreamon has and got us infinite gadgets. But he didn’t; and I argue it’s because we will make all of that one day. What we will forget is to live and be human. That’s why he and I still chose to share the message of love; it's the only way to earn karma points in this "reddit of life." And the only way to have a clear vision. Experience Love, and then only the education in life will truly start.
This profoundly sophisticated, and yet simple, LOVE is natural; it’s universal, and it’s personal. Words may be enough to express it, but I don’t hold any more caliber to write. LOVE JUST IS.
I repeat: There is no one to prove to, no wars to fight, no games to win, and clearly no aim to achieve than love. A simple, loving life is enough for me/you to live a life that feels like a fantasy.
