"+2 is a scam and I am not trying to make it over dramatic"

Background

So, it's been quite a while since my board exams have ended. And the utopia of time that I thought I will have has been a strong, big and bold "NO". Social Media is really addictive and porn on the other hand is next level. Now, even worse after they have been combined together. The softcore porn in social media and digital contents are so demanding of all of my motivation and eagerness. And all of these days have been wasted. The golden age of content satirically is also the most boredom inducing time in all history. So, I decided to stop the continuation of this short-term harmful and dopamine hitting toxic cycle from today. And I am going to ‘Carpe Diem’;
So, The first step is to take a few steps back. My +2 in Nepal has ended. (I know the result is yet to come). And a huge number of students are filling the seats that are empty as we go on for our next stop on our journey of education. Being a human being in this article I am going to do the most important thing that humans can do; 'PASSING ON MY EXPERIENCES'. So, here are my words describing my struggles or even probable tricks for everyone wanting to know about +2 Education In Nepal.

+2 is a scam

Yeah, and I am not even trying to make it over dramatic but I studied science and let me tell you I actually haven't 'learned' anything. I never bought any books for chemistry and physics in Grade 12 and the books of chemistry and physics that I bought was a big scam that happened to me in grade 11. The course is so outdated and so unfriendly. The books that are supposed to be helpful to me wasn't actually very helpful. The curriculum lacks any standard practice for experience based learning.
Everything in +2 is overpriced. The chemicals in our chemistry labs expired long ago and physics practicals were all a copy paste and 'try to be cool by not asking' competition. And yet our monthly lab fee costs Rs.10,000/-. The college was all about attendance. The fees are high. And the value of the service is literally not worth it. The teachers were wannabe goons and it was all superficial. The courses are all trying to adapt to A Levels and the ECAs/sports were just there for the sake of existing. We used to be in a so-called ‘CCA class’ for both years without any actual mentor to teach us (except for a max of 4 actual classes). It was all just sitting, getting hungry, and looking at clocks to go home.
The cafferia was home to a lot of diseases. There were all kinds of oily and super unhealthy, expensive food that were the victim of shrinkflation. All the theories of physics were hardly understood and teachers would just tell us to ask for help but never helped us much. +2 is just selfish business where the institutions act like they care, the teachers act like they are all right and are brightening our future and students act like they are focusing and studying. Where actually, students are victims and they don't even know that. Institutions only try to keep their reputation, teachers are all trying to finish those heavy courses and students are just manifesting for classes to end. The actual sense of care and fostering future loving, creative minds is a dead idea and it's like institutions and teachers are acting just like people blaming the government that will vote for them a thousand more times in the future.
So, Know the fact, +2 is a scam.
Tip: If you are reading science, Youtube, AI and the Internet are your actual teachers. Don't emphasize on internal exams too much and try not to set yourself on a high pedestal. The point is to learn. Never let your college get in the way of learning. And yeah, make friends but also become complete on your own too. A simple, healthy and caring person is the coolest thing you can be in +2/Life.

+2 is torture

Yes, I have a lot of personal sufferings to add to this. It's a physical and mental torture that you pay to experience.
Physically, the whole regular routine is just tiring to me in which there is even no proper food and morning classes where gaining 8 hours of sleep is a thing next to impossible. It was always so tiring when I reached home and as physical and mental health is linked, It's even worse. The sweet sleep of morning getting interrupted and you having to face those bad traffic while returning and deadly AQI of kathmandu. Many classrooms are over occupied where it lacks proper ventilation.
Mentally, there are so many things. Even my dreams were affected and I had many nightmares. Teachers were unsupportive and the classrooms were roast shows. I really got affected by their comments. The whole institution blaming us was just insane. My mental state was really bad and I honestly cried and shouted some days after I got home from college. Covering heavy courses and frequent exams was a pressure too. We had to copy notes that could be provided online and the worst part was to read a new topic simultaneously while you are writing down huge paragraphs. I even get in touch with people now that totally know and have experienced how devastating the educational institutions are for the mental health of students.
Tip: SPEAK UP!! Never try to suppress your emotions. If +2 is tiring and hampering your health, know that nothing in life is valuable if you lose your peace and your unique existence. Email your administration (anonymous if you want), talk to parents, don't hamper your diet, sleep or loved ones just for a certificate that has very low value in the future. Have your friends or someone special that you both mutually rely on.

+2 is a super biased race

Well if both of the above points don't contribute enough, This one is my redemption. I cheated on +2 board exams and yes I sure did it. I got the leaked papers from my own teachers outside our exam center and my friends also had phones all along even if the invigilator seized it. They eventually returned every time he got caught (three times to be precise). The invigilator let us cheat in most of the cases. And I can easily say I added more than 50 marks in total just from cheating and I am not making this up. Where I have friends in other colleges who didn't get their chances to cheat although it's cheating because I know they deserve more grades than me. Not only that, when I thought about how much people of my own age are going through and struggling, where we are having this unethical, illegal privilege and I hate it and I am not remaining silent. And this is the proof.
First of all +2 is not a race, it's a group effort where cooperation is the key to a better world. The world doesn't need competitors. We need people with love that help each other and it's only possible if people stop seeding competition in education.
Tip: CHILL!! Don't ruin your studies. Being a decent student with goals and talent is enough. Knowing it's just +2 and it's Nepal (A country that is wasting its potential). Life is much bigger and broader. The goal is to keep a beautiful, peaceful shelter not creating a jungle of trying to kill each other.

Conclusion

So yeah, That’s the snapshot of my journey. Sorry if it's melodramatic. But it's what's happening or at least what happened to me. Don't worry, just keep livin and don't stress out. I hope situations change and if you are my junior brothers and sisters. Please don't be scared or worried. Your journey will be wonderful if you are wonderful yourself.
