Background
As I always say, moviemaking is a thing I am really fascinated about. I have watched movies and series as long as I remember and their representation and unique approach to storytelling always makes me feel wonderful. So after making my short film शब्द/word. I wanted to learn more about making movies. So, I created a story of a student who feel pressurized and have to end his life. And finally here it is.
Introduction
Result/नतिजा is a short movie which tells a simple story of a student who is going to face the result of SEE (Secondary Education Examination). Which was previous named as SLC (School Leaving Certificate) and which is said to be the iron gate and the most important exam for a student life in Nepal.
I themed the movie around the point of education not being limited around marks and also about how overrated the whole examinations are. And hence "education is beyond marks" became our tagline. This movie have elements from my own life along with inspirations from many people around me. I am really grateful for helps from my friends.
I don't want to share any hatred with any community, gender or to anyone. This is just a story followed by incidents and dialogues.
I am really grateful for Resta foundation for their permission to use the clips and to all the people with whom I have been able to work and have helped me all along.

Conclusion:
This movie is based upon the pressure and trouble students don't deserve and yet have to go through in their lives. The pressure for exams and spoon-feeding system of education isn't going to do any good to our nation or the students. Hence, I wanted to make people aware and raise idea of a better system with more smiles in the face of the students who are dreaming for their lives.
